Exam Pattern

NEET Exam Pattern Update

As per the new NEET 2021 exam pattern, each of the three subjects -- Physics, Chemistry and Biology -- will have two sections – A and B. While Section A will be mandatory and will consist of 35 questions, Section B will have 15 questions, out of which students will have to answer only 10.

According to the NEET 2021 marking scheme, applicants will score four marks for each correct answer in NEET and for every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted. However, no negative marks will be cut for unattempted questions.

National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET), formerly known as the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT), is the qualifying test for competitive exam for medical students, both MBBS and BDS.

Any student with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects in class 12 and has scored 50% and above can appear for NEET 2021.

For now, the NEET 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on August 1, 2021.

The NEET 2021 will be conducted offline throughout the country.

There is no cap on the time you can appear for the NEET exam. You just need to be above 17 and there also no upper limit on the age to appear for NEET 2021

The minimum NEET score to claim a seat at any government college is 600.

The NEET form is sold at INR 1500/- for the general category students and at INR 1400/- for other categories.
